Judas is the final project of the late Father Ellwood "Bud" Kieser, C.S.P. – founder of the Humanitas Prize and Paulist Productions. Starring in Judas are Johnathon Schaech (That Thing You Do, How to Make an American Quilt) as Judas, Jonathan Scarfe (ER) as Jesus, Tim Matheson (West Wing, Wolf Lake) as Pilate, Bob Gunton as Caiaphas, Owen Teale as Flavius, Danny Scheinmann as Jeshura, Elliot Levey as Eliakim, Suzanne Bertish as Rohab, Mark Womack as Peter, Rory Kinnear as Andrew and Enzo Squillino Jr. as James. Judas is executive-produced by multi-Emmy Award-winning writer/ producer Tom Fontana (Homicide: Life on the Streets, Oz), who also wrote the screenplay. Frank Desiderio, C.S.P., President of Paulist Productions, also serves as executive producer. The film, under the Paulist Productions banner, is directed by Charles Robert Carner (Crossfire Trail, Who Killed Atlanta’s Children?, Christmas Rush, The Fixer, Vanishing Point). Ann Wingate is the producer. Judas is distributed by Paramount Network Television.
