Inter-Mission historically has concentrated on the spiritual and
professional needs of its members. In recognition to our own members
and confirmation from the leaders of the various entertainment ministries
that the lack of social interaction remains a problem in LA, we
are introducing INTER-TAINMENT. Many who have just arrived in Hollywood
as well as those who have been here for decades continue to feel
isolated. We wish to have quarterly and eventually monthly times
where we get together as one large family and enjoy fun activities
without focusing on professional or spiritual matters.

TRIVIA: Early 1700s - In Holland, an unknown Dutchman decided to go ice skating in the summer, ice skating was the widespread method used in the Netherlands to travel the numerous frozen canals in winter. The unknown inventor accomplished dry land skating by nailing wooden spools to strips of wood and attaching them to his shoes.
